Punchpack is built with privacy as the default. This policy explains exactly what we do — and don't — with your data.
Nothing is sent to our servers. Punchpack is a fully local app. Your packs, punches, photos, locations, and notes live on your device and (if you opt in) sync through your private iCloud container. We never see any of it.
The data we never receive:
We don't use any third-party SDKs for analytics, advertising, or tracking.
If you're signed into iCloud on your device, Punchpack uses CloudKit to sync your pack data across your own Apple devices. This data:
You can disable iCloud sync at any time in Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Punchpack.
Location — Only when you explicitly tap "Add location" in the punch flow, or when you set up a geofence reminder. Location is used locally, to tag the punch with where you were and to fire a notification when you arrive at a registered venue. We do not transmit location data anywhere.
Photos — Only when you tap "Add a photo" in the punch flow. We use the privacy-preserving picker, which means we never get access to your photo library — only the single image you select. The image is saved to our sandbox immediately.
Notifications — Only requested if you set up a geofence reminder. Used to send local notifications when you enter a registered area.
Punchpack Pro is a one-time purchase processed by Apple. We see only what Apple gives us via StoreKit:
We do not see your Apple ID, payment method, or transaction details.
Punchpack is rated 4+. We don't knowingly collect any information from children under 13 (or any other age, since we don't collect anything from anyone).
Because all your data is on your device and in your private iCloud container, deleting the app deletes everything. There's nothing on our servers to request deletion of.
If you've enabled iCloud sync and want to wipe the iCloud copy, you can do so from Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage → Punchpack → Delete Data.
If we change this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and bump the app version. Material changes will be called out in the app's release notes.
